Financial Intermediary Service
LOCAL finance company Capitalise Business Support has picked up another valuable contract to support businesses struggling to access to finance. Capitalise will now be delivering the Financial Intermediary Service (FIS) across Kent & Sussex for Business Link.
The service developed in conjunction with the Federation of Small Businesses, enables businesses to access specialist financial diagnostic advice through a mixture of one to one clinics, telephone advice and financial intermediary support between businesses and lenders, where problems accessing finance or increasing lending costs have arisen.
FIS is neutral, impartial and free to access and provides a contact point for entrepreneurs encountering problems accessing new bank finance, or renewing existing bank facilities, in the current climate. Sean Dennis, Managing Director, said: “Whilst many lenders needed to tighten their credit control, this has led to greater problems for businesses accessing finance. This excellent service enables us to help mediate between lender and their client to try and achieve an amicable solution.”
If you have any questions about the service, please

or call Capitalise Business
Support on 0845 601 8326.

How green is your magpie?
AFTER returning from France a couple of years ago, Josie Richards found herself back in Hastings considering her options. Whilst working abroad, Josie became aware of the continental attitude to recycling and environmental issues and wanted to do something in Hastings that tied in with her environmental philosophies.
For advice, Josie turned to Ten Sixty Six Enterprise
which was able to help re fine her plans through a variety of support,
including the highly successful Let’s Start Talking Business and
Let’s Get Started training programmes; they even supplied a marquee
in the town centre to help
her conduct her market research surveys!
